178 Saxe Point Park

Today’s snorkelling adventure was along the east side of Saxe Point Park in Esquimalt, BC. Five of us from the Cold Water Addicts group entered and exited the water from the Inspiration Cove beach.

Saxe Point Snorkelling – Topside View

This first video shows the site from the surface.

The conditions were ideal. We were in full sunlight the entire time. There was no discernible current. Any waves were trivial. The vertical visibility was about 5 metres.

    1. Hi Wendy. That video was made in March of 2023. I was there again a few days ago and the viz was worse, as it is at most locations around here these days.
